Application Procedure

Who can apply?

The Summer School is open to PhD students, Post-docs and Researchers/Assistant Professors. Associate and Full Professors, and Practitioners/Professionals can also attend if they research interests are related to visual methods.

Participation is restricted to 12-15 participants; this is to ensure high interaction with the invited speakers.

The Summer School will be delivered in English. Participants are therefore be expected to have a good command of written and spoken English.

How to apply

How to apply to the Tourism Research Method Summer School 

PhD students, Post-docs and Researchers/Assistant Professors should apply, sending a short motivation letter to serena.volo@unibz.it and TouRM@unibz.it (maximum 500 words), including information about affiliation and position, explaining prior tourism research methods knowledge and motivation/interest in visual research methods. The template will be available shortly.

An email of notification will be sent soon after, and accepted participants will be invited to officially register and pay the summer school fees. At the time of registration, please make sure you have proof of your status (PhD student card is required for PhD students).  

Associate and Full Professors, and Practitioners/Professionals are invited to send a short email with affiliation information and expression of interest to serena.volo@unibz.it and TouRM@unibz.it.

• credit card – 5th of June 2023

Partial or incomplete applications will not be processed.
